คำอธิบายหลักสูตร:

The course consists of both workshop study in the form of workshop lectures as well as work experience in the industry. The teaching methods used by the trainers will include face-to-face workshop lectures, supervised work placements, case studies, role plays, workplace simulation, written assignments, presentations, etc. Workers in this role are usually involved in service delivery in the form of either direct client work or community development projects. Workers at this level operate at an advanced skill level and may also have the responsibility for supervision of other staff or volunteers. The successful candidates will be eligible to apply for employment at a professional level in the Community Services industry. The available employment pathways may include assessor, early intervention coordinator, local area coordinator, program manager, support facilitator, case coordinator/ case manager, client service assessor, community worker, social welfare worker and coordinator family services.

Students must be 18 years of age. They must have completed year 12 or equivalent. An IELTS band of 5.5 or equivalent is required as assessed by the institute (students with 5 bands in IELTS will need to complete the advised period of ELICOS).
