คำอธิบายหลักสูตร: 
This program aims to provide an efficient pathway to an undergraduate degree program for young Non-English Speaking Background students whose academic achievements do not meet Australian university entry requirements to undergraduate programs. The Program addresses discipline content to meet the educational criteria for tertiary entrance and prepares students for the university culture and its communication demands.

Students will have completed the equivalent of Australian Year 11 in their home countries. An English language level equivalent of IELTS 5.5 is required. If an IELTS score is provided, it must be from a test taken within 12 months of the time of application. Students who do not have the required level of English can be enrolled in an intensive English course to meet the required level of English, before enrolling in Foundation Studies Program.

This University is located on 75.6 hectares of landscaped grounds ten minutes drive from the centre of Toowoomba. Toowoomba is a city of approximately 90 000 residents, and is about 90 minutes drive from the Queensland capital, Brisbane. The Toowoomba campus is modern and well-equipped with a wide range of facilities including: television studios, a state-of-the-art library, performing arts theatre, concert hall, sciences and engineering laboratories, modern lecture theatres, computer laboratories (24 hour access available), sport and recreation centre, archery range, tennis and basketball courts, five sports grounds and Australia's largest and most traditionally designed Japanese garden.

This University provides students with information on a range of accommodation options. Students may choose to live: on-campus at Residential Colleges, off-campus in share accommodation and with a family as part of a homestay if they are an ELICOS/Uniprep student. USQ Residential Colleges accommodates over 400 students in a safe and stimulating environment. There are three Residential Colleges on the University campus: McGregor, Steele Rudd and Concannon. All three Colleges offer accommodation to both male and female students reflecting a diversity of backgrounds, cultures, professional interests and nationalities. some of the facilities available are: comfortable single study bedrooms, meals provided with a wide variety of choice, free Broadband internet allowance, organised social and sporting events, 24-hour security service, room cleaning and linen service, academic tutorial program, access to sporting and recreational activities and walking distance to University facilities.
